Established in 2014, Aptstudio is a product focused, multi-disciplinary design studio based in the UK. We work with individuals, companies and businesses to bridge the gaps from idea to production and delivery. Our experience spans from one off fabrication to batch and mass production. We have previously produced narrative led products for universities, entire crowd funding campaigns for startups, restaurant interiors and large festival installations. Fascinated by materials, colour, texture and the manufacturing process; we combine our knowledge and passion to deliver creative solutions.

Only one week into our Kickstarter and thanks to all our backers we're almost funded. Which leads us to stretch goals, maybe note books? This one's locally hand bound with traditional hand marbled paper.

Tomorrow at 12pm we finally go live on @kickstarter thanks to the continuing enthusiasm and feedback from our backers. We'll post the link here where you'll be able to see a short film showing some detailed shots of Kensa being made and used.
Stealth edition. Satin black anodised aluminium. Lightweight and strong. Black on black, on black on black. Machining the body as one seamless part posed many engineering challenges, but we're now glad we did.
Component parts. We've swapped out knurling on the original pen adjuster and locking nut for neat cut-outs. We found after a couple of years the knurling was wearing down. These cutouts won't wear down, and they provide better grip. They also look co
